Structurally, it is super solid and will also hold up in the weather as well, so you can leave it outside. That said, it is best to use an extra layer of some type of outdoor varnish if you will always leave it outside.

You may be surprised by the weight of this stand. It is heavy… but it’s really because it is heavy duty. The whole things folds out / down in seconds, and the hammock is attached easily as well. You won’t be taking it backpacking, but it’s perfect for car camping or just to take to the park or the beach for the day.
